In Shanghai we work with a woman-owned factory and equal opportunity employer. They are regularly audited with SEDEX/SMETA system which ensures that fair wages are paid for reasonable work hours. No worker in the factory works more than 40 hours a week unless properly compensated. Additionally, all factory employees are provided holidays off, maternity/paternity leave is provided, and they recieve paid sick days. Of course, safe and clean working factory conditions and proper training for employees is emphasized with our Shanghai partner. Finally, the practice sustainability and energy saving methods whenever applicable and possible.
